Green Investment Day

GID (Green Investment Day) is a day for entrepreneurs, investors and other actors within cleantech to establish new contacts and create business opportunities. During the day startups and entrepreneurs will get a chance to pitch for investors. The day will also offer an opportunity for startups to show their products in the exhibition area and for investors to meet the teams behind the ideas during the mingles.

    About GID

Interest in cleantech is increasing fast - both among entrepreneurs and investors.
Two examples of the organizers previous engagements in the field are Connect Green Day, a 5-year event organized by Connect Sweden together with the Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten) and CleanTech for Sustainable Cities, an annual international event that the CleanTech Challenge team organized.  Both of these events have been very successful and increased the public awareness of cleantech in the region dramatically.

The aim of GID is to bring cleantech innovations and investment opportunities to the next level, creating a new meeting arena for all cleantech stakeholders of the region.

To make this happen the CleanTech Challenge team (Sustainability InnoCenter), Connect Uppsala, STUNS Energi and UIC came together to create a new meeting place. The purpose is to create an opportunity for entrepreneurs and innovators to start and develop new and successful companies which will contribute to the region’s growth.

We are looking forward to meeting you on the 7th of November!
